My Changing Life

As I pack to leave for a retreat with a non-profit board I am a part of, I realize how many things I’m going to have to cut back on or just leave altogether. I sit on two boards right now, both of which have kept me very busy lately. And I’m the scheduler on a congressional campaign. Then there’s always my job, church, my family and my friends. It makes me tired just thinking about it all. This week has been very busy, even though it was only a four-day work week. I think I’m just feeling overwhelmed and tired.

Over the last couple of days I think Baby has become more active. Since I’ve never done this before, I can’t be sure. But, I think I can tell when Baby has shifted from one position to another. I’m much more uncomfortable when baby is more vertical in my abdomen, which is not surprising. And then I feel much better when Baby has changed to the horizontal position. I can’t necessarily feel the transition, but I feel the difference after the fact!

Jen, Thanks for creating this blog. I really enjoy your updates on you and baby's progress. My daughter is 2 1/2 with SED. I try to read a many personal experiences as I can so that I can relay information to her as she gets older and it is appropriate. It's a long way off, but I have wondered about what pregnancy would be like for her. Thank you so much for sharing this special time in your life.
